TouchType, the company that launched SwiftKey keyboard app for Android last year, has announced two new keyboard apps – SwiftKey X for Android smartphones and SwiftKey Tablet X for Android tablets. The new versions offer a couple of intuitive features, provides you an option to choose from more than 20 languages, supports all Android 2.1 devices or higher, offers three themes (dark, light or neon) and are available for a download via the Android Market for $3.99 and $4.99 respectively. The Fluency 2.0 language inference feature learns and observes how a user composes and phrases sentences and then predicts what the user is likely to type next. TouchType’s cloud-based personalization service keeps a track on user’s message history of his accounts on multiple social networks like Google, Facebook, Twitter and many others to offer a customized prediction and correction experience. And finally, the Touch-Interaction modeling feature conducts real-time analysis of user’s touchscreen typing precision to improve word accuracy. The SwiftKey Tablet X app has also incorporated a split-key layout for thumb-typing specifically designed for tablet form factors. FYI: If you already have the SwiftKey app, you’ll be upgraded to this latest version SwiftKey X for free.
