DETROIT— Lexus presented an awesome sports car called Lexus LFA at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit last week. Following the revelation of the marvelous car a buzz started doing the rounds that Lexus is entering into the sports car business arena.Lexus introduced LFA a few years back in 2005, only as a concept car. It seems Lexus has put its heart and soul building up such a high quality sports car.
LFA is powered by a 4.8-liter V10 engine. The new car will run at an average speed of 60 miles per hour, thanks to its 10-cylinder 552 hp engine. Its strong yet lightweight car, made off carbon fiber polymer.
The production of the prestigious car will start in December 2010 in Japan. Lexus has notified that 20 car will be built every month till they reach the landmark of 500. Wow! what a terrific marketing strategy!
Well, if you are counting your bucks for purchasing the LFA, you must know that its not as simple as buying a car from your local dealer. You have to send an application to Lexus and let them know that you want to buy LFA. Lexus will decide whether you can buy the car.
