The on-going Mobile World Congress had seen three new HTC phones recently. And now, there is another low-end phone called HTC Smart on the board which is to be released in the UK in cooperation with O2.
The HTC Smart phone will sport a 2.8-inch touchscreen and run with Qualcomm's Brew mobile platform. There is a 300 MHz processor, which make up the requirement for the set. However, except the microSD slot, there is no on board memory with the set.
The set incorporates many features like 3 megapixel camera with a flash and 3G connectivity. But, it doesn’t have Wi-Fi. The HTC Smart also offers social networking and browsing without extra charge. The HTC Sense UI creates a premium feel without offering big specs.
The company has promised to bring the device at more than half the price of today's smartphone. However, the details are under wraps.
